Terms of Service
Effective date: May 24, 2026
Last updated: May 24, 2026
These Terms govern your use of PantryFlow, operated by PantryFlow LLC ("PantryFlow," "we," "us"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What PantryFlow is — and is not
PantryFlow is a tool that:
- Parses recipes from URLs or text you provide.
- Matches the parsed ingredients to products at one or more grocery stores.
- Lets you add the matched products to your existing cart at the retailer of your choice (e.g., Kroger).
PantryFlow is not:
- A grocery delivery service. Pickup or delivery is provided by the retailer, not by us.
- A medical, dietary, allergen, or nutritional advisor. Our matches are AI-assisted and can be wrong.
- A pharmacy or controlled-substance handler. Some retailer SKUs (alcohol, tobacco, prescriptions) may not route through us.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the service.
- You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe to Premium.
- You must comply with the laws applicable to you.
3. Accounts
- You can use most of PantryFlow anonymously without an account. Some features (sending to your store cart, Premium, family sharing) require registration.
- You're responsible for keeping your password and 2FA recovery codes safe.
- We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are abusive, fraudulent, or violating these terms.
4. The cart-send flow
When you click "Add to Cart," PantryFlow uses an OAuth token you previously authorized to send the matched product list to the retailer's cart on your account. You then complete the checkout on the retailer's site or app. We never charge you for groceries — that's between you and the retailer.
You are responsible for reviewing your cart before checkout. Matches are AI-assisted and may be wrong. If a match is wrong (wrong product, wrong size, wrong quantity, allergen-equivalent substitution), you must catch and correct it on the retailer's side. We provide tooling to make this easy; we do not guarantee perfect matches.
5. Allergens, dietary needs, and food safety
PantryFlow does not provide allergen, dietary, religious-observance, or medical-condition guidance. If you have a food allergy, dietary restriction, or medical condition affected by what you eat:
- Verify product labels at the retailer's site or in person.
- Verify ingredient identities — our matcher might pair "almond flour" to "regular flour" if "almond flour" isn't found.
- If in doubt, do not buy.
We accept no responsibility for adverse outcomes from food purchased via PantryFlow, including but not limited to allergic reactions, dietary violations, or matching errors. You are the final review surface.
6. Premium subscriptions
- Premium subscriptions auto-renew at the price stated at signup.
- You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period.
- Refund policy: full refund within 14 days of any Premium charge, no questions asked. No refunds beyond 14 days, except for clear billing fraud or service outages we caused. No pro-rated cancellations.
- Pricing may change with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers are grandfathered through their next renewal date.
- Premium is per-team (per-family). One subscription covers up to 5 members.
7. Acceptable use
You will not:
- Use PantryFlow to acquire goods you don't have authority to acquire (e.g., using someone else's retailer account without permission).
- Submit recipe content that is illegal, unlawful, or that you don't have rights to.
- Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to access systems you're not authorized to access.
- Submit so many parse requests as to constitute denial-of-service.
- Resell or rent your access without our written consent.
- Attempt to defeat the rate limits, the daily AI parse cap, or the abuse-prevention systems.
- Use PantryFlow for any unlawful purpose.
We reserve the right to terminate access for users we reasonably believe are violating these rules.
8. Embed and creator program
If you install the PantryFlow embed on your website:
- You retain all rights to your recipe content. We don't claim ownership.
- You agree to disclose the affiliate relationship to your audience as required by FTC rules.
- You agree not to misrepresent PantryFlow's capabilities or terms in your audience-facing content.
- We pay creator commissions on a schedule and at rates we publish on
pantryflow.app/creator. - We can revoke access to the embed program for any reason, with refund of any unpaid earned commission.
9. Intellectual property
- We own the PantryFlow service, code, and brand.
- You own your recipes and any data you submit.
- By submitting a recipe, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process it for your use of the service. We do not republish, sell, or train AI models on your data.
10. Third-party retailers and providers
PantryFlow integrates with retailers (Kroger, Instacart, Walmart, Albertsons, etc.) and other providers (Anthropic, Stripe, Vultr, etc.). Their terms apply to your interactions with them. We are not responsible for their conduct, pricing, availability, or accuracy.
11. Service availability
We do our best to keep PantryFlow available, but we don't promise zero downtime. The service is provided "as is." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- PantryFlow provides the service "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) $100, or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or harm to reputation.
- We are specifically not liable for adverse outcomes from food (allergic reactions, dietary issues, mismatched products).
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations. To that extent, this section applies only as far as the law permits.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify PantryFlow from any claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio. You and PantryFlow each waive any right to a jury trial. Class action lawsuits and class arbitration are not available.
15. Changes
We can update these terms by posting a new version. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
